Kind of hard to believe, but the Toledo Blade got it right again when they published an article today by everbody's favorite nature boy, Steve Pollick. I've liked Steve's scrawlings for a long time - I do remember his reflection on a pin oak. And I know he's weighed in, time and again, on the effect of fouling our local environment with fossil fuels. But this article is a beaut! As he said - at least there's one good thing coming out the ever increasing cost of using a car.
Here's the link: Steep prices for fuel lead to good news for wildlife
Confidential to Steve: what you are driving these days? Hope it's EI (energy efficient) and LC (low carbon). Or need I ask?
Thanks for the great article, man! Highly appreciated! Didn't mean to offend by the 'tongue-in-cheek'!
